Strong and fluidly sequenced yoga class that is practiced in coordination with breathing. Incorporates a blend of strength and mobility. Some familiarity with yoga terminology and practice is advised.
Develop your active range of motion in this dynamic class. An "active range of motion" means the range of motion of your joints that you can control, sometimes this is referred to as active stretching. We'll often incorporate items from around your house as props to further our learning. Easily adaptable to many levels of ability, strength and mobility.
Relaxed practice with a focus on the subtler aspects of yoga to care for the mind, body and spirit. Incorporates gentle movement, long holds in yoga postures, breathing techniques and guided relaxation (Yoga Nidra). May include pranayama, mantra and meditation.

We're all built a little differently. A posture or cue that works for one person, may not be applicable to the next. Private yoga classes are an excellent way to have your needs met with the focus of a teacher exclusively on you.
I apply the theory behind viniyoga to my private clients: each person's practice is unique to their physiological and psychological makeup and thus practice is about cultivating balance for the unique human being with whom I'm working. I take take great pleasure and joy in getting to know and being curious about the clients with whom I work, whether they're a seasoned practitioner looking for new and creative ideas for their vinyasa practice, a 70 year old retiree looking to enjoy their body in movement and cultivate strength or a 60 something factory worker with long-term arthritis and chronic pain. I value working with all clients in all states of mental and physical health.
So, whether your goals are to develop strength, mobility, flexibility, injury rehab, chronic pain or a particular movement/posture that you're working towards, you can ask for what you want. Based on your needs, classes can incorporate movement principles from hatha and vinyasa yoga, Pilates, breathwork and deep rest. We can work around your schedule so that your practice remains a priority in your life.
Practice one-on-one with me to explore your body's capabilities, develop resilience and cultivate calm in your life. Whether you're new to yoga or are a long-time practitioner, there's always something to learn!

Just like your physical body can develop "knots" (adhesions or scar tissue), your energetic body can develop "knots" as well. These energetic knots are sometimes called "blockages". These "knots" or "blockages" can result in chronic pain, difficulty sleeping, digestive issues, difficult emotional patterns or thoughts, low self esteem, difficulty concentrating, low libido, anxiety, depression and so on. Reiki is a practice of working with the subtle energy in your body to allow for it to return to its natural flow.
This is a deeply relaxing treatment that is perfect for anyone interested in exploring their subtle inner world.
Thai Yoga Massage

Thai Yoga Massage is a form of body work that uses muscular manipulation (as is used with registered massage
therapy), joint articulation, stretching, assisted yoga postures and breathing to bring the body in to a state
of deep relaxation.)

How Do I Book a Private Session?
Private sessions are available Sunday, Tuesday and Thursdays from 10-6PM.
If you're a new client, create a profile at momoyoga.com/katarinayoga
Email with your request. Please include the date, time, duration, type and number of sessions you'd like to book (please keep in mind the availability listed above). E.g. "I would like to book five, 60-minute Reiki treatments. Is it possible to book the first will be on April 4th, 2021 at 10AM?"
You will receive a reply within 48 hours confirming the booking date and time.
A private session booking or series of bookings will be created in Momoyoga for you. You will be signed into the registered session(s) and notified via email.
Pay for your session or package of sessions through Momoyoga by adding it to your cart and checking out.
Payment for bulk sessions are due before the first appointment takes place.
If you've booked an online private yoga class, you'll receive an email 30 minutes before our class begins with the Zoom link.
